Today we had to close down operations at Drivr – a company I have been working on for almost six years.
It’s sad but have been a fun ride. Built a lot of great tech and had a bunch of excellent colleagues.

As co-founder of Drivr I have been waiting for Uber to launch in Copenhagen for some time. The legislation in Denmark doesn’t really fit well with how Uber operates so it’s interesting to see what happens. The danish “taxiraad” already pressed charges against them but let’s see if anything is going to be done about it.
Our customers, taxi companies, of course does not like this and a lot of drivers are publicly complaining about it and suggesting all kind of ways to stop it.
It doesn’t change the way Drivr operates – we will continue to work within the confines of the law and provide existing taxi companies with tools allowing them to improve their quality of service.
Drivr on! 🙂
